Registration deadline for in-person tickets is midday on Tuesday 20th February to ensure visitor passes can be processed.

There are a limited number of spaces available for facility tours, these are for the Central Laser Facility, the Data Centre or the National Satellite Test Facility R100 facility. Attendees can only sign up for one as they’ll run concurrently between 4-5pm on Mon 4^th. 

The visitor centre, where the meeting will be held is quite new and fully accessible. The tours are mostly accessible as well, but the Central Laser Facility (CLF) tour organisers have requested we let them know in advance if there are any people with accessibility concerns. If you register for a tour and have accessibility concerns, please let us know by Thursday 29^th Feb. 

In general however the site is quite large and some walking will be involved across the site between the RAL reception and the visitor centre, and from there to the CLF facility and to the Data centre, e.g. visitor centre to the CLF visitor centre is about a 10 minute walk. If that is really a problem for anyone we may be able to organise some transport but we’d need to know a week in advance.

When you arrive at the Harwell Campus go to the RAL main reception building marked below to register and receive a site badge. Please wear this at all times while on site and return it to reception or security when you leave on the Tuesday. Reception will direct you to the Visitor Centre where the meeting is being held (R112) and the car park that’s in front of it.

It is important that ALL attending bring photo-ID when visiting RAL to register with security and be allocated your pass. Acceptable forms of ID are listed below (this does NOT your institutional ID card for example):

• UK/Foreign Passport
• UK/Foreign Driving Licence
• UK Biometric Residence Permit
• STFC/UKRI Photo Identity Pass
