Welcome to the ISNA-MSE Conference 2025, an international event that brings together professionals, educators, therapists, and researchers from around the world to explore the endless possibilities of the Snoezelen approach. During these two days of discussion, we'll delve into how the multisensory environment can become a powerful tool for fostering relationships, care, learning, and inclusion.

Benvenuti alla Conferenza ISNA-MSE 2025, un evento internazionale che riunisce professionisti, educatori, terapisti e ricercatori da tutto il mondo per esplorare le infinite possibilità dell'approccio Snoezelen. Durante questi due giorni di discussione, esploreremo come l'ambiente multisensoriale possa diventare un potente strumento per promuovere relazioni, cura, apprendimento e inclusione.

The theme chosen for this edition – Togetherness in the Space of Possibilities – emphasizes the importance of encounter, shared experience, and personal development, regardless of age, context, or condition.

Il tema scelto per questa edizione, 'Insieme nello Spazio delle Possibilità', mette in luce l'importanza dell'incontro, dell'esperienza condivisa e dello sviluppo personale, indipendentemente dall'età, dal contesto o dalla condizione.

The conference program features plenary sessions with international speakers, experiential workshops, and poster sessions showcasing hands-on experiences and innovations in the field. Topics covered include the application of Snoezelen in schools, disability, with children, adults, and the elderly (including those with dementia), in the home, and in therapeutic settings.

Il programma della conferenza offre sessioni plenarie con relatori internazionali, workshop esperienziali e sessioni di poster che presentano esperienze pratiche e innovazioni nel campo. Tra i temi trattati, l'applicazione della terapia Snoezelen nelle scuole, la disabilità, l'uso con bambini, adulti e anziani (compresi quelli affetti da demenza), a casa e in contesti terapeutici.

We'll delve into multisensory educational models, emotional and behavioral support approaches, stimulation techniques for children with special needs, the method's use with individuals on the autism spectrum at various levels, and the impact of Snoezelen in musical, hospital, and home settings. We'll also discuss the setup of environments, the significance of the companion's role, and the impact of technology in personalizing the experience.

Esploreremo modelli educativi multisensoriali, approcci di supporto emotivo e comportamentale, tecniche di stimolazione per bambini con bisogni speciali, l'uso del metodo con individui nello spettro dell'autismo a vari livelli e l'impatto di Snoezelen in contesti musicali, ospedalieri e domestici. Parleremo anche della creazione di ambienti, dell'importanza del ruolo dell'accompagnatore e dell'impatto della tecnologia sulla personalizzazione dell'esperienza.

This year, we're introducing a new feature compared to previous editions. We've created a POSTER session with a dedicated exhibition area, where anyone can showcase and display their poster, as long as there's enough space.
Posters provide numerous benefits to both authors and other participants.
First and foremost, they enable authors to showcase and promote their research in a high-visibility setting.
The extended display time of the posters allows congress participants to thoroughly review the content and expand their knowledge on the topics.
Finally, the direct interaction between authors and participants provides both parties with the opportunity to engage in a constructive dialogue between industry experts and expand their respective professional networks. This exchange of ideas, opinions, and experiences can spark inspiration for future research developments and pave the way for new collaborations.

Quest'anno, abbiamo in serbo una sorpresa per voi, una novità che non vediamo l'ora di svelarvi! Abbiamo creato una sessione POSTER con un'area espositiva dedicata, dove poter esporre e mostrare il proprio poster, purché ci sia abbastanza spazio.
I poster sono un'opportunità unica per gli autori e gli altri partecipanti, offrendo loro un'esperienza di condivisione e apprendimento che li arricchisce e coinvolge.
Offrono agli autori un'opportunità unica per presentare e promuovere la loro ricerca in un ambiente di grande visibilità, creando un'esperienza indimenticabile per tutti.
Il loro tempo di esposizione prolungato r consente ai partecipanti al congresso di esplorare a fondo il contenuto e ampliare le conoscenze sui temi, in particolare sugli ultimi sviluppi della ricerca, in un'esperienza di apprendimento coinvolgente e stimolante.
Infine, l'interazione diretta tra autori e partecipanti offre a tutti l'opportunità di impegnarsi in un dialogo costruttivo tra esperti del settore e di espandere le rispettive reti professionali, creando così un ambiente fertile per la crescita e l'innovazione. By Car
If you're traveling on the A4 Torino-Trieste highway, we recommend taking the Padova Ovest exit, whether you're coming from Milan or Venice. From here, continue south on the Tangenziale ovest (Corso Australia) until you reach the new Abano link road, which will take you to the large roundabout at the entrance of the spa in just a few minutes.
If you're coming from the A13 motorway (Bologna-Padua), you can exit at Terme Euganee, then take the SS 16 'Adriatica' towards Padua. Once you reach the junction, take the new bypass road, which will quickly lead you to the spa center.
In Auto
Per chi percorre l'autostrada A4 Torino-Trieste, l'uscita consigliata è Padova Ovest, sia che si provenga da Milano che da Venezia; da qui si prosegue per la Tangenziale ovest (Corso Australia) percorrendola in direzione sud fino ad imboccare la nuova bretella per Abano che in un paio di minuti porta alla grande rotatoria all'ingresso del centro termale.
Chi arriva dall'autostrada A13 (Bologna-Padova) può uscire al casello di Terme Euganee, prendere la Strada Statale 16 "Adriatica" in direzione Padova fino a imboccare lo svincolo della nuova circonvallazione che porta velocemente al centro termale.

By Train
The nearest train station is Terme Euganee in Montegrotto, on the Bologna-Padua line, where all major trains stop. Alternatively, the Padua station on the Milan-Venice line is equally convenient, with all trains stopping there. Buses A, AT, M, T, and TL depart every 15 minutes from the station square, heading towards Abano. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
In Treno
La stazione ferroviaria più vicina è quella di Terme Euganee a Montegrotto, sulla linea Bologna-Padova; vi fermano tutti i treni principali. Altrimenti altrettanto comoda è la stazione di Padova, sulla linea Milano-Venezia, dove fermano tutti i treni. Proprio dal piazzale della stazione partono ogni 15 minuti i bus delle linee A, AT, M, T, TL diretti ad Abano (tempo di percorrenza 30 minuti).

By Air
Flying to Abano is also a viable option. The closest airport is Venice (60 km), where major national and international airlines make their stopovers. From here, you can easily reach Abano by taxi or bus (Busitalia from Venice airport to Padua train station, then transfer to the bus line for Abano Terme: timetable >>). The international airport of Verona (80 km) is still quite close and convenient to reach.
Anche l'aereo può essere il mezzo giusto per raggiungere Abano. L'aeroporto più vicino, è quello di Venezia (60 Km) dove fanno scalo le maggiori compagnie aeree nazionali e internazionali. Da qui si può arrivare ad Abano in taxi, oppure con bus (Busitalia dall’aeroporto di Venezia alla stazione dei treni di Padova, con cambio linea bus per Abano Terme: orari >> ). Anche l'aeroporto internazionale di Verona (80 Km) è comunque abbastanza vicino e comodo da raggiungere.
