HSHV's TNR program exists to serve the community cats (unsocialized, outdoor cats) in our area by sterilizing and vaccinating them. The core goal of the program is to humanely reduce community cat populations over time.

-Due to limited availability TNR is reserved for Washtenaw County cats at this time
-Drop off is 9:00-11:00am every Monday (closed on federal holidays) at the HSHV clinic, call 734-662-4365 to check-in
-You must complete the online sign-up from home before arriving to check-in
-Recommended process - trap for TNR cats Sunday night / early Monday morning. At 8:00am be prepared to sign-up for a spot online for TNR, the spots are limited and are typically filled within a few minutes. In the event that HSHV is sold out of spots, there is an additional resource list at the bottom of this page
-Online sign-up form & payment opens at 8am Monday mornings
-Cats MUST be in a live trap
-If cats are not in a live trap, there is a $50 transfer fee.
-A staff member will come outside to retrieve cat/s, please DO NOT bring TNR cats inside to the clinic lobby
-2 cat maximum per day
-If any TNR cats can be safely handled, they must reschedule through our outpatient clinic. TNR is reserved for unsocial, community cats
-If you are located inside our service area (Washtenaw County, Plymouth and Northville City) and have a community cat that can be safely handled, please reach out to our intake department to schedule an assessment for adoption - 734-661-3528
-If you are located OUTSIDE of our service area and have a TNR cat that can be safely handled, please reach out to your local shelter for advice on best practices in your community
-If you have a special payment arrangement, select ticket type - TNR pay upon arrival and call our clinic Monday between 9-11am to check-in
-If you need to cancel please call 734-661-3523 and you will be refunded, however please do not purchase a spot unless you already have a cat in a trap as there are limited spots
