Green skills workshop: Wild Wings – Create Your Own Flying Creature

New date! Join us for a creative evening session where we’ll be using materials found in nature to build soaring sculptures. Whether you want to make a realistic bird, a delicate dragonfly, or a completely imaginary flying beast, this workshop is all about letting your imagination take flight.

You will learn how to work with natural forms to create wings, bodies, and movement, resulting in a beautiful piece of art you can display at home. We also invite you to help us make an extra flying creature to be featured in our grand woodland celebration event on 1 August.

Location & Weather

We will be working outdoors to stay close to our natural inspiration. Don't worry about the weather—we will be under cover if it rains.

Because it is an evening session, it might get chilly as the sun goes down. Please bring or wear plenty of layers to make sure you stay warm.

Food & Drink

• Tea and Coffee: We will provide tea and coffee for everyone.

• Food: Since this session runs through tea-time, feel free to bring a snack or a light meal with you.

What do I need to bring?

• Just yourself! All tools and natural materials are provided.

• Clothing: Comfortable clothes and extra layers for the evening air.

• Experience: None needed. This is a beginner-friendly session.
