The HYBRD Effect is an immersive golf, music, and film experience debuting during SXSW at Butler Pitch & Putt in Austin.

Hosted by HYBRD Studios, the event brings together sport, creative arts, culture, and community in one shared space. Butler Pitch & Putt represents everything we believe in: accessible golf, strong local energy, and a community built around the game.

Guests may attend with or without golf participation. Throughout the day the course becomes a social environment featuring live music, short films, curated brand activations, raffles and giveaways, food and drinks, and a community of creatives, athletes, builders, and people who appreciate the culture around the game.

The evening features a live performance by Boleros With Attitude (B.W.A.), alongside moments designed to feel intentional, social, and elevated.

VIP ticket holders receive curated gift bags featuring premium items from participating brand partners including Underdog, Skullcandy, Topgolf, Malbon Golf, Penfold Golf, Cobalt Golf, and Sanuk.

All guests will also have opportunities to participate in on-site raffles and brand activations featuring partners such as Callaway Golf, Odyssey Golf, and others.

An art display from White Dot Gallery will be featured on-site, with select pieces available for purchase throughout the event. Guests will also be able to shop merchandise from Radry Golf and Project 4 Food during the event.

Attendees can experience the Inrange® simulator, offering interactive play and real-time swing data for anyone looking to test their game in a tech-forward environment.

Whether you're coming to play, connect, or simply stop by during SXSW, there will be something happening across the course all afternoon and evening.

2:00 PM – Event Opens, InRange Simulator available to all guests, Live Music, DJ
2:00 PM – 4:30 PM – General Admission Golf Session
4:30 PM – 5:00 PM - Longest Putt Competition (open to all attendees)
5:00 PM – 7:30 PM – VIP Golf Session
7:45 PM – 8:10 PM – Short Film Screening
8:10 PM – 9:00 PM – Boleros With Attitude Live Performance
