hyp AGM 2026

We invite you to join us on Tuesday 20 January for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to elect the 2026 hyp board and meet our new Executive Directors.

To be eligible to vote at the AGM, it is a constitutional requirement to be a member of hyp. If you aren't a member already, join now for free via our website or contact us at executive@hyp.org.au if you are not sure whether you are a member or need to update your information.

In line with the hyp Constitution, all membership applications are reviewed by the current board. The final approval for membership applications prior to the AGM is midnight Wednesday 14th January, 2026.

The AGM is a members-only event and is free of charge, however registration is essential and each member is required to register individually (i.e. you cannot register for 2 tickets).

Once again, we will be rolling out an electronic AGM voting system. On the morning you will receive links to vote for each position. The links will only be active during the voting period. As such, when booking your ticket in Eventbrite, please provide an email address that you can access on a mobile device during the event. The ballot will be undertaken in accordance with the hyp constitution.

Cost: Free

**Please arrive from 6:30am if you wish to purchase barista made drink from Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club. Formalities will commence at 7:00am sharp.

Do I have to be a member to attend?
Non-members can attend the AGM, but only members have voting rights. If you aren't sure if you are a current member, please email executive@hyp.org.au
