Tertulia closes Ágora 2026 with an afternoon of performance, conversation, and artistic exchange. Rooted in IATI Theater’s long tradition of interdisciplinary collaboration and community gatherings, Tertulia brings together artists working across theater, poetry, music, movement, and storytelling.

Featuring a diverse lineup of short works and performances, the event invites audiences to experience new voices, bold ideas, and creative experimentation in an intimate and welcoming environment.

About the Artists

Amanda Reeves
Grotowski-trained actor and member of the Blessed Unrest ensemble, Amanda Reeves works primarily in physical theatre. She has also narrated over 50 audiobooks and is currently developing new stage work.

Emiliano Reyna
NYU-trained theater artist from Laredo, Texas, Emiliano Reyna creates work at the intersection of performance, politics, and social practice. His recent projects include !HERMANO JUSTICE! and performances at ALab and Sparks Theatre festivals.

Fé Torres
Chilean-American actor, writer, and teaching artist from Queens, NY, Fé Torres is a UNIT 52 member at INTAR Theatre. His award-winning play My-My Name Is was presented at The Kennedy Center and produced at LPAC.

Isidora Farias
Chilean actor and recent graduate of Brooklyn College (BFA Acting), Isidora Farias is a multidisciplinary artist working across performance, writing, and movement. She is a member of the LAByrinth Summer Intensive Ensemble.

Laura Angélica Rodríguez
Actor, playwright, and director whose work has been presented internationally, Laura Angélica Rodríguez is the author of Volcano, staged in Argentina, New York, and Madrid. She also works as an educator and cultural manager.

Santiago Casares
Actor, writer, and theater-maker from Mexico City, Santiago Casares trained at NYU Tisch (Experimental Theatre Wing and Meisner Studio). His recent work includes Houselives (Gene Frankel Theatre) and Half (A.R.T. New York).

Santiago Orjuela
Performing artist from Bogotá, Colombia, Santiago Orjuela works across theater, film, and music, exploring performance as a form of personal expression and storytelling.

Sophia Angelica
Latina singer-songwriter, actor, and global human rights activist, Sophia Angelica has performed internationally and collaborates with organizations including the United Nations. Her work centers on empowerment and breaking stereotypes through music.

About Ágora 2026

Ágora is IATI Theater’s week-long festival bringing together its signature community programs — Queertástico, Mujerstory, and Tertulia — alongside workshops, readings, and participatory events.

Taking place at IATI’s East Village home, the festival creates a shared space for artistic exchange, interdisciplinary performance, and community dialogue.
