About the Workshop
This playful and energetic workshop introduces participants to the expressive world of clowning and physical theatre.
Through movement exercises, improvisation, and theatrical games, participants will explore curiosity, vulnerability, and humor while discovering their own unique comic presence. The workshop invites participants to reconnect with imagination and embrace the joy of playful performance.
About the Instructor
Tanya Perez is a Nuyorican playwright, performer, and teaching artist whose Off-Broadway debut Welcome to Clowntown received critical acclaim. Her workshops in physical theatre and devising have been presented across the country in schools and arts organizations.
