White Tiger follows Khloe, a Korean American high school student and artist, and her immigrant mother, Young-Mi. Khloe dreams of attending art school, while her mother insists she stay home to help run the family laundromat. As Khloe begins to experience vivid dreams of a genderqueer Korean immigrant living through the Mexican Revolution, past and present collide, exploring generational conflict and identity.

This staged reading is part of Cimientos 2026, IATI Theater’s annual play development program and staged readings series.
