At the beginning of the 20th century, the Nicaraguan poet Rubén Darío fulfilled a dream of youth, travelling to Spain and visiting Andalusia. A journey in search of the sunlight that would heal him of his chronic bronchitis and of the sadness afflicting him. An expedition in search of beauty, to the lands of the sun.
Elena Blanco and May Silva, president and director respectively of AVA - Andalusian Audiovisual Foundation - along with Xabier San Isidro, Spanish Embassy Education Officer, will be with us for a post-screening discussion about Andalusian Cinema.
