Jesús Armesto • Spain 2016 • 94 min • Spanish with English Subtitles • Documentary
Sofia, a young college student, starts working on her thesis about discovering the true Andalusian history. Intuitive and sensitive, she embarks on a journey that will lead her to the evocation of the silence lying in ruins and historical sites, and to unknown revelations uncovered thanks to conversations with specialists of the field.
A reflective work that contemporises the debate on memory and the value of the identity of the peoples in a globalised society.
Tamara Van Strijthem from Take One Action, Noe Mendelle from Scottish Documentary Institute and the film's director Jesús Armesto will be with us for a post-screening discussion, thanks to the support of Acción Cultural Española, AC/E through the PICE’s grants.
Full price £6.00
Special Jesús Armesto Combi-Pass: Both screenings for £10
