ICE OUT OF MN: Day of Truth and Freedom Rally (Post-March)

The ICE OUT OF MN: Day of Truth and Freedom Rally will be a (free) ticketed event at the conclusion of the march. Those who are not marching may also register here. A ticket does not guarantee entry. The usual Target Center rules apply (no large bags, no strollers, no signs on sticks, etc). 

The call from the community for a statewide day of non-violent moral action, reflection: no work, no school, no shopping has seen an overwhelming response from Minnesotans, with over 700 businesses committing to close, over a dozen major unions and federations joining the call, dozens of places of faith closing their doors, and thousands of Minnesotans committing to heed the call. 

The event comes as news outlets report that ICE took a five year-old and reportedly used him as “bait” to get his father and now both the boy and his father were transported to a Texas detention center. Community members continue to be attacked by ICE while trying to bear witness to families getting torn apart. It’s been more than two weeks since Renee Good was killed in her car by an ICE agent, who so far has not even been investigated for the shooting.
