Brompton's Halloween Trail: Can You Solve the Candy Crook Mystery?

Calling all trainee ghost hunters! Are you ready for a spooky adventure this Halloween?

The BOO (The Brompton Otherworld Organisation) are BACK for year two! And they need your help. Join us on Saturday, October 31st, for a FREE fun, family-friendly trail around historic Brompton, created with and inspired by the local community.

Your mission: Uncover the truth about who stole Brompton's Halloween Candy!

What's Happening? This isn't just a walk — it's an interactive show!

The Action: Brompton resident Nic Lamont (our script writer and director) has used local ghost stories and history to create a thrilling experience starring the most spooktacular actors.

As you walk the trail, you'll meet Medway's Most Famous Ghosts, follow the clues and dance your way through Brompton. You'll piece together the puzzle and find out what really happened to the stolen Halloween sweets.

Plus, come in your best home-made fancy dress, and you'll be in with the chance of winning a £15 High Street voucher in our costume competition!

This is the Halloween trail you don't want to miss! Get ready to explore, meet some hilarious spooks, solve a mystery and earn your Ghost Hunter badge. Are you ready to join The BOO and face the Ghosts of Medway?

All children need to be accompanied by an adult. Both adults and children require tickets to the event. The trail is family-friendly, designed for fun rather than frights — we promise no jumping out and nothing genuinely scary!

The meeting location is The Cannon Pub beer garden, 15 Garden St, Brompton, Gillingham ME7 5AS. Please arrive 10 mins before your trail time begins. Look out for people wearing the Ideas Test Hi Vis.

• Timings: Trails start at 4pm, 4.45pm, 5.30pm, 6.15pm, 7pm, 7.45pm and last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes
• Cost: Completely FREE

The event has been shaped through conversations and creative sessions with local residents at Tracie’s Café in Brompton, bringing community ideas to life and putting local people at the heart of the celebration.
