SERIAL KILLERS

A tournament of serial theater where teams compete to tell their stories in the form of episodic theater. 

Seven teams enter week one, each presenting a 10-mintue pilot episode. The fate of their stories are in the audiences hands, because each week the audience votes one team out of the competition. Each week the stories continue, new actors are added into the mix. Each week our recap team performs recaps of the previous episodes to bring audience up to speed on the stories. 

At the end of five weeks, three teams make it to the final performance where they compete for prize money, and more importantly, the glory taking the Serial Killers crown. 

JANUARY 17 - WEEK ONE - 10 minute episodes. One team voted off. 

WEEK ONE VOTING RESULTS: 1st place: LAVINIA DIES AT MIDNIGHT AND IMPSTERS (2 votes each), TOMATOPOCALYPSE (5 votes), THE CASE OF THE WANDERING WOLF (17 vote), WE WHIPER OUR SECRETS TO SPIDE (19 votes) - and we said farewell to the tournaments first victim ESCAPE THE STORYBOOK 

JANUARY 24 - WEEK TWO -  10 minute episodes. One team voted off. 

JANUARY 31 - WEEK THREE - 10-15  minute episodes. One team voted off. 

FEBRUARY 7 - WEEK FOUR -  15 minute episodes. One team voted off. 

FEBRUARY 14- WEEK FIVE -  20 minute episodes. First, second, and third prized awarded. 

Serial Killers has been a long-running festival at iDiOM Theater. The first was held twenty years ago, and it has been a staple of our season ever since. Last years winner,

Audiences at both 7pm and 9pm shows cast their votes. After the 9pm show each night results of the voting are announced live and posted on our social media accounts.  Recaps performed for the uninitiated weeks 2-5. by our recap team.
