Horses of Disaster and The Lurxx

Join us at Bitterne Community HUB for a night of acoustic music, featuring two fantastic pairs of artists. All profits from the event will be donated to the community pantry: fighting food waste and supporting people to get access to food, whatever their means.

Horses of Disaster are a traditional folk duo who perform a mix of a capella and accompanied songs. Bask in the atmosphere as they keep alive songs that have been sung for hundreds of years, and add your voice to the mix alongside these expert performers.

The Lurxx describe themselves as "nature warrior glam punk grunge!" and I describe them as a good time. Join their upbeat music as they fight for the changes they wish to see in the world. Aggressively anti-capitalist, they give away albums worth of music just for the love of sharing their work. Come along and see what they are all about, and take a small piece of it home with you
