Description
Organised in conjunction with the International Oak Society (IOS), this French Quercus Study Day commences with a presentation on the genus focused on oak identification, following which, Béatrice Chassé, former IOS President and long-time Editor of International Oaks, the IOS Journal, will show us the world-class collection of oaks she has created with Gérard Lionet, started in 2003 and recognized in 2012 as a National Collection of oaks by the Conservatoire des Collections Végétales Spécialisées (Conservatory of Specialized Plant Collections).
The day starts at 0900 hrs CET.

The first two are each about 15 minutes drive from the Arboretum, and the third one is about 10 minutes drive from the Arboretum
If you are arriving by train please advise the organisers so that lifts for onward travel to the Arboretum can be arranged.
