Organised by the British Section of the Institute of Food Technologists
This session poses a practical question: how can you use AI as a research assistant without outsourcing the parts of research that must remain yours?
This is not an anti-AI session. AI can be genuinely useful. It can help you brainstorm, organise your thoughts, test structure, improve clarity, reduce repetition and get started when you’re stuck. But AI is not a replacement for your interpretation, your judgement, your authorship or your responsibility.
The session will cover how to use AI tools responsibly and effectively for your research, whether you’re doing your PhD, a student assignment, or a work project. After the talk, we will have a Q&A.
