First conceived over 30 years ago, EMDR is now widely accepted as a psychotherapy for trauma. Less well known is how long EMDR has also been understood as a profoundly transpersonal approach to emotional and spiritual healing.

This webinar will introduce an EMDR focus not just on attachment dysfunctions from earliest childhood, but also increasingly on narratives handed down and internalised explicitly and implicitly from previous generations, and from collective culture and experience.

The case will be made for integrating core transpersonal and intergenerational understandings that underpin best-practice EMDR into the work of other schools of psychotherapy, including the Jungian.
