Join us for our Women in Leadership Special Interest Group Meeting. This meeting will take the shape of a workshop Sisters Doing It For Themselves: Representation at Leadership Level.
Amanda Reynolds FRSA, Founder & Director of Blend Associates Ltd and guest speaker Sobia Iqbal aim to bring women in similar situations together in a supportive environment for group coaching to solve complex problems. Learn the art of self-advocacy, strategies on how to find your tribe who can support you, how to build resiliency and drive aspirations when lacking representation. Join us to find out how you can find a role model and mentor to support you, or how to build your confidence to be this for someone else! Plus some top tips on how to network from a diverse background.

Amanda runs her own strategy and coaching practice Blend Associates Ltd with access to a faculty of 30+ coaches. She has a special interest in supporting women leaders to thrive. She began her career as a mental health nurse and ran a number of clinical services throughout her career up to board level in the NHS. Amanda holds a master’s Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring (ILM 7) and is a certified MBTI (Myers Briggs), TKI conflict practitioner and PROPHET Executive Team psychometric profiling. She also holds a CEDR certificate in Employment & Workplace mediation. Amanda is a published author and holds an MBA. Amanda brings an up-to-date knowledge of the leadership challenges of complex organisations. Amanda has experience in UK national and local government, the National Health Service, education (UK & USA), the not for profit and the private sectors. She can offer coaching, board facilitation and strategy consultancy. During the pandemic Amanda created, recruited, and has led a coaching faculty coaching senior NHS individuals and teams. The work has been evaluated and shared widely showing the impact of COVID on NHS managerial and clinical senior leaders.
Sobia is passionate about transformative conversations that empower and inspire positive organisational change. She believes, to perform effectively requires clarity including knowing how desired outcomes align to a greater purpose, vision, values and priorities (both strategic and personal). Fostering self-awareness, insight and capability - small incremental steps taken consistently leading to greater resourcefulness. Sobia uses a holistic approach incorporating wellbeing, somatic, relational and eco-systemic; we are all part of multiple systems that are interconnected. Thereby, supporting effective, sustainable, values aligned being and doing; creating the conditions for collective transformations. Sobia has successfully delivered services to NHS, local authority, charity, university, corporate, small and medium-sized enterprise clients.
