IIDA SFC - Soaps, Socks, & Sandcastles - Philanthropic Earth Day Competition

Join our IIDA South Florida team for an engaging and philanthropic sandcastle or sand sculpture competition. On the Saturday following Earth Day, located at the beautiful Hollywood Beach, we are gathering to raise funds, socks & toiletries for Camillus House in local South Florida through friendly competition.

Create a team (family and friends welcome), and bring your own supplies! Entry "fee" for each team member is a donation for Camillus House via AmazonSmile donation (bring receipt to event), ticket tailor monetary donation, or bring item/monetary donation to the event.

 Judged by local design professionals, sand castles will be awarded based on our "Earth Day Theme" by Most Creative, Best to Theme, Technical Difficulty, and Use of Material and Space. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Masks will be required and each team will have their own designated competition area, encouraging social distancing.

Location: South-side of Hollywood Beach, between Tyler Street and Polk Street, adjacent to Logan Beach Bar. 

Schedule: 8:30AM kick off, 9:00-11:00AM competition, 11:00-11:30AM judging, 11:30AM awards and prizes.

Team Information: Each team member is to register independently (2-6 individuals per team). Once a team is created, please email info@iidasfc.org. If you do not have a team and would like to participate, sign up and we will pair you with a team!
