COFFEE MORNING - Rewilding in Yorkshire

Fri 26 Jun 2026 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Join us for an inspiring coffee morning as Jeff Davitt explores how the powerful principles of nature recovery apply directly to our local landscape. Jeff will outline the principles of rewilding as they apply to Yorkshire, illustrating what is happening in the region, and the benefits it brings and illustrate that rewilding is not exclusive to massive country estates, but can actively thrive in our own Yorkshire backyards and community spaces. Discover how rapidly local wildlife can bounce back when given the space to do so, learn about the immense ecological benefits hitting close to home, and find out how small-scale actions can yield massive environmental rewards. Come along to Ilkley Manor House for an engaging, hopeful, and humor-infused discussion on bringing the wild back to Yorkshire.

Arrive at Ilkley Manor House at 10:15am to have time to get a hot drink and biscuit. The talk will start at 10:30am, lasting roughly an hour, with time for questions at the end.
