There are moments in a town’s story you don’t realise are historic until they’re gone.

You can shoot on anything — phone, film, digital. This isn’t about perfection, it’s about presence, observation, and storytelling.

Selected images may be shared across I Love North Shields (with full credit), and could feed into future print, archive, and heritage projects.

We will meet at 10.00 at the ferry crossing - ferry leaves at 10:30 am

Why this matters

North Shields is changing — and that’s not a bad thing.
But documenting before is how we honour what came first.
