I Love North Shields Photography Collective, in collaboration with Caviar Studios and Wex, are excited to bring you a full day of photography, creativity and collaboration.

We’re bringing photographers together for the opportunity to step inside Caviar Studios, work with professional models, explore a variety of studio sets and try out professional camera equipment from Wex.

Whether you’re experienced in studio photography or have never stepped into a studio before, this is a chance to try something different, experiment with your photography and create images for your portfolio.

WHAT TO EXPECT

PROFESSIONAL MODELS

We’ll have a selection of professional models joining us throughout the day, giving you the opportunity to photograph a variety of looks and styles across the different studio setups.

STUDIO SETS

Caviar Studios offers a range of different sets and creative spaces to work with, giving you plenty of opportunities to experiment and create something that feels like your own.

This isn’t about everyone taking the same photograph. Explore the space, try different ideas and put your own creative spin on things.

TRY PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT

Wex will be joining us with a selection of professional cameras and lenses for photographers to try during the day.

Equipment details will be confirmed closer to the event.

GUIDANCE & SUPPORT

The day will be led by Dexter Johnson, Photographer at Caviar Studios, who will be on hand throughout the day to help photographers get the most from the studio, models and sets.

The I Love North Shields team, Rachel Riley, Gary Ormston and Jess Riley, will also be there throughout the day to offer help and support, share ideas and help create a relaxed and collaborative environment.

Whether you need a little guidance, want to try something new or simply fancy chatting photography with other people who love it, there’ll be someone around to help.

HOW THE DAY WORKS

You can choose to attend either the morning session, afternoon session, or make a full day of it.

MORNING SESSION

9:30am arrival
9.45am Studio Tour
10am – 12pm photography session

A two-hour photography session with professional models and access to the studio sets.

LUNCH

12pm-1pm for those staying the full day.

AFTERNOON SESSION

1pm arrival
1.15pm Studio Tour
1.30pm - 3.30pm photography session

A second two-hour photography session with professional models and the opportunity to explore the studio and its different setups.

NETWORKING

3.30pm – 4.30pm

For those staying for the full day, we’ll finish with an hour of networking. Anyone from the morning session is welcome to come back for this networking session too.

TICKETS

MORNING SESSION — £50

10am – 12pm

A two-hour photography session with professional models and access to the studio sets.

AFTERNOON SESSION — £50

1.30pm – 3.30pm

A two-hour photography session with professional models and access to the studio sets.

FULL DAY — £75

10am – 3.30pm

Book both sessions for £75, saving £25 compared with booking the two sessions separately.

Full-day attendees will also have a one-hour lunch break between the two photography sessions.

You don’t need to be an experienced studio photographer.

THE VENUE

CAVIAR STUDIOS, NEWCASTLE

A professional creative studio with a range of distinctive sets and spaces designed for photography and content creation.

For one day, you’ll have the opportunity to step inside the studio, explore the different setups and create images in an environment that’s very different from shooting outdoors or on location.

LUNCH

Full-day ticket holders will have a one-hour break for lunch between the morning and afternoon sessions.

There are places to grab lunch nearby, or you’re welcome to bring your own if you’d prefer.

It’s a 5 minute walk from central station.

There are parking options available near Caviar Studios, Stephenson Quarter Car Park is located across the road from the studio.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

If you need to cancel your booking, we require 48 hours’ notice by email in order to issue a refund.

Please note that refunds are subject to a £5 administration charge.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
