DECAMERON IN MUSIC

Baroque, Unfiltered.

Step beyond the polished image of Baroque music and discover its raw, human essence — where laughter meets tragedy, beauty meets chaos, and elegance conceals the full spectrum of human emotion.

Decameron in Music offers a bold new perspective on the Baroque era: an intimate, immersive encounter with passion, desire, irony, drama, and virtuosity.

Featuring strings, organ, piano, and voice, the program brings together the richness of historical sound and a fresh, contemporary artistic vision. The sacred meets the sensual. The sublime collides with the absurd. Moments of exquisite beauty give way to theatrical intensity, revealing the humanity beneath the ornate surfaces of Baroque music.

Inspired by the spirit of Boccaccio’s Decameron, this concert explores the contradictions that define us — the comedy and cruelty of life, the fragility of beauty, the ecstasy of love, and the inevitability of loss.

This is Baroque beyond the museum glass. Unfiltered, unpredictable, intimate, and profoundly alive.

Laughter meets tragedy. Beauty meets madness. Four centuries later but nothing feels more human and contemporary.
