Join us for a peaceful day of creativity as we explore the quiet beauty of winter through watercolour.

As winter settles in and the world feels a little slower, there's something wonderfully calming about spending a few hours painting. In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, we'll be creating beautiful snowy landscapes inspired by frosted mornings, icy textures and the soft stillness of the season.

You'll be gently guided through a range of watercolour techniques as we explore delicate washes, subtle colour palettes and expressive brushwork to bring our winter scenes to life. Think sparkling snow, misty skies, frozen lakes and the peaceful magic that only winter can bring.

Rather than focusing on perfection, this workshop is all about enjoying the process, building confidence and embracing the beautiful unpredictability of watercolour.

During the session, we'll explore:

❄️ Mixing subtle colours to paint convincing snow and ice
❄️ Using layering techniques to add depth and distance
❄️ Suggesting texture and movement with expressive brushwork

Do I need experience?

Not at all. This workshop is completely beginner-friendly, and we'll support you every step of the way. Whether you've never picked up a paintbrush before or you're looking to develop a looser style, you'll be very welcome.

You'll leave with your own finished winter painting, along with new techniques and the confidence to continue exploring watercolour at home.

Important Information

🎨 Clothing: Aprons are provided, but please bring gloves and your own secateurs if you feel they would be useful.

📸 Photography: We may take photos during the event for marketing. If you'd prefer not to be included, just let us know when you arrive.

🎟️ Tickets: Tickets are non-refundable. With at least 48 hours' notice, we're happy to transfer your booking to another event once (subject to availability). You're also welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else—just let us know their name in advance.

👨‍👩‍👧 Age: Children are welcome when accompanied by a paying adult with their own ticket, unless the event is marked as adults only.
