Imperial Nuclear Medicine Study Day

The ‘Imperial Nuclear Medicine Study Day’ is a thorough and comprehensive imaging-based course covering all essential aspects of nuclear medicine required for everyday clinical practice, the MDT setting and the RCR training syllabus. Components will be relevant to anyone working in or interacting with nuclear medicine departments; including radiology and nuclear medicine trainees, technologists, radiographers, nurses, clinical scientists and physicists, and will serve as a refresher for consultants.

The course comprises a series of talks containing essential facts required for day-to-day clinical work and also for those tackling the FRCR examinations.

This course will be useful for anyone who wants a full clinical overview covering the most important aspects of general and paediatric nuclear medicine imaging, including planar, single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) and positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. It also highlights relevant details regarding molecular radiotherapy alongside principles of physics, radiation protection and regulation. The lecturers will be available to answer all of those challenging nuclear medicine questions that you may have.

Tickets include a gourmet buffet lunch accompanied by refreshments served throughout the day.
