Acting Skills from teacher Peggy Pexy Green (Belgium) is a 6-hour workshop for any improviser who wants to level up their acting performance.

 In improv, you are not only actors/actresses, but you are also the authors and directors of the scenes you play. What a blast! We are using a lot of skills such as story-telling, listening to our partners, playing genres, etc. and sometimes, we are giving a lot of energy and attention to them, and less to our role of actress/actor. In this workshop, you will specifically work on your acting skills. We will use scripted theatre techniques so that you can go deeper in your characters’ psychology, physicality, and embody them. Living their life, feeling their emotion, in drama and in comedy moments. We will feed your improv tool-box, as you will play and naturally react as your character, acting as your character. “Acting is reacting” (Stella Adler). You are an improviser? Peggy Pexy Green is an improv director, performer and teacher, born in the French Alps. After graduating from the Kleine Academie (Jacques Lecoq) and Cours Florent, she worked in cinema and scripted theatre, until she fell in love with improv in 2013. She is the founder of La compagnie qui pétille, a professional improv company based in Brussels which creates shows fueled by emotions and connection, like “Secret Garden”, and also addresses society issues through improv and Forum-Theatre. In 2022, she published an online “Guide for improvisers who want to change the world” in French, which was downloaded over 3000 times. Since 2020, she has performed with the international improv company ImproBubble.  She travels over Europe, working in French, English, Italian and Spanish, in festivals and international events in beautiful cities like Lyon, Amsterdam, Torino, Barcelona, Lausanne, Luxembourg, or Paris. After 12 years of improv, she is still fascinated by every story offering a journey that is both highly emotional, and highly funny.
