2026 Ottawa Improv Festival

The Ottawa Improv Festival, or OIF, is an annual improvised comedy festival that features hilarious and talented local, national and international performers. The festival aspires to offer inspiring shows, world-class workshops and a great hang.

OIF is presented by the Improv Embassy Theatre Company, a non-profit theatre school dedicated to fostering and growing the improv and comedy community in Ottawa.  We do this through our ongoing classes, jams and shows.  We also provide Corporate Workshops to help elevate communication, collaboration and creativity in the workplace.  Since our founding in 2016, we've taught hundreds of students and delivered dozens of corporate workshops.
