Every day we are making things up as we go along.
What am I having for breakfast? How am I responding to the angry man on the bus? What shall I say in this meeting?
Every day we are interacting with people. How can we be our full selves, together?
Sometimes it can be a little bit daunting.
But what if there were some tools that could make it all a little bit easier?
What if there were skills you could acquire to tackle the everyday in new and exciting ways?
Good news - there are. I got them right here in my purse!
As someone who has improvised their way through the last 15 years of their life both on and off stage (and written a book about it), the parallels between improv and life skills are staggering.
We will be working online, which is why we have a small class size (max. 12 people). I spent Lockdown figuring out how to best translate the in-person experience to Zoom and am excited to continue leading my workshops in this format. It means we can have people from all over the UK and beyond.
We will meet every Sunday morning at 10am for 5 weeks, 2 hours per week and I will be setting tasks in between classes. You do not have to have read my book to do this course.
My pricing also reflects the time we are in. I have 3 levels of fee - I do not assess you for these. If you need the lower price, please take it. I need a certain number of each ticket to cover my costs, so if the ticket you need is no longer available, you may need to wait till the next round of courses.
That being said, always feel free to get in touch if finances are getting in the way of you participating. If I can work it out, we will work it out.
"Just wanted to say again how much I adored Improv Your Life, and what a huge difference it has made to me. You have changed my life. And that is not an exaggeration. Hurrah for Pippa! Hurrah for improv!" Course Participant
"This course is for everyone. If like me, you are a curious spectator wanting to dunk your toe in the improv world, you will leave with the true belief that anything is possible... Oh and you will laugh... alot." Sharon, Ward Sister, Southend
"Pippa is a brilliant facilitator, always boosting your confidence and providing encouragement. It's great to learn new ways to approach daily situations with the mind of an improviser, and also just lots of fun!" Laura, online participant
"This course was so much fun and really accessible for a first timer. It's the best way to get out of your own head after work and learn something new." Róisín, high school teacher.
