Bloomington Small Scale Development Workshop

We'd like to personally invite you to join us for the Incremental Development Alliance's Small Scale Development Workshop, coming to Bloomington on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

Bloomington needs more homes, more local investment, and more people who understand how to help good projects move from idea to reality. This workshop is designed for everyone in the real estate ecosystem (i.e. developers, lenders, architects, brokers, planners, and local professionals) who want to better understand how small-scale, neighborhood-based development works from the ground up.

The workshop is led by professional small-scale developers and IncDev Faculty Members, Jen Acosta of Acosta Real Estate and Development and Marques King of Fabric[K] Design and covers: 

• How to tell what makes a good development project
• How a building makes money (and when it doesn't)
• How more local people can participate in solutions rather than feeling shut out of the process

The registration fee covers a full day of training with national experts, peer learning, practical development tools, and a clearer understanding of one of the most important issues facing Bloomington.

*The IncDev Small Scale Development Workshop is a prerequisite to attending a Small Developer Boot Camp.
