The Index Climbers’ Collective (ICC) is a small, volunteer-run non-profit organization that seeks to preserve and support climbing in Index. The ICC is made up of climbers, roughly half of whom are also Index residents and the other half are Index regulars located throughout WA. We recognize the growing popularity of Index as a climbing destination and are dedicated to addressing the unique challenges that come with increased visitor traffic. Our focus is on basic activities such as trail maintenance, crag and campground cleanup, funding and maintaining toilets, fostering positive relationships between climbers and town residents, and supporting the long-term enjoyment of climbing in Index.
