November Playtest (in collaboration with CPL, Portage Cragin branch)

This month's playtest is NOT at the Lair, and is being held in collaboration with the Chicago Public Library at its Portage-Cragin branch, located at 5108 W. Belmont Ave. | Chicago, IL 60641. For this event, we ask that games be acceptable for an all-ages group as we expect the youth to be in attendance. It's a great opportunity to get feedback from a younger crowd! Bring your project by to get feedback from other devs, play some other people's games! Don't have a project? Come by and help people test theirs! Get a library card if you don't have one.

You can sign up in advance with a "Dev" Ticket to guarantee room for your game, but we will aim to accommodate as many as we can. 

If you don't have a project, just nab a "Tester" ticket and come by to check out some games!

NO AI.   If you show up with a generated game, placeholder AI art graphics, whatever, you will be asked to leave.

Please be respectful of ICG's community rules and guidelines, and respect the Chicago Library as a community space.

Public Health Policy

Understand that risk of exposure to Covid-19 exists in any event or public space, including Indie City Games.

Before registering for, and attending the event read the CDC Guidelines for Prevention.

You must also not be currently experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 not attributable to preexisting health conditions, as identified at CDC.gov, including, but not limited to:

• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea

That prior to attending the event You have not been in contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a CDC-recommended quarantine;

You are not under any self-quarantine or isolation orders or subject to any CDC self-quarantine or isolation protocol; and

You are fully vaccinated from COVID-19, meaning at the time you are attending it has been at least fourteen (14) days since:

Your second dose in a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine series approved or authorized by the FDA or by the WHO, or

Your single dose of a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine authorized by the FDA or by the WHO.

Indie City Games requires that all attendees are vaccinated and may ask for proof of vaccination whether digital or physical.
