Curated Conversations for the Cultivation of a Beautiful Way of Life

Events list

What If We Weave Our Deepest Gifts and Possibilities for Renewed and Thriving Communities?

There are all around us brilliant people, projects, practices, and movements prefiguring more rooted and regenerative ways of life. Many of us are feeling increasingly called into our true nature, talents, and agency. What if our calling in that direction is life itself speaking, reaching through us and towards what it wants to create next? What if it all adds up to a more beautiful way of life ... for everyone?

This possibility feels at once exciting and also a bit ... anxiety producing. Where are we headed? Where to start? How to be? How to participate?

So, let’s talk about all that. All of it.

This is something best done in community, with intention, in live, artfully-hosted dialogue. Together we can explore, metabolize, and evolve with this unfolding narrative. We can cultivate a community of locally-rooted people living into a new and life-affirming story. In time this will make all the difference in the world.

So, that’s what we’ll do.

On Thursdays, Conversation Café (brand new) will be a highly participatory dialogue space to presence specific subjects. The subject of each café conversation will be publicized in advance. This space features connection, content, small group dialogue, and whole circle reflection. Espresso Cohorts. Rich. Flavourful. Will Perk You Up. Bring coffee and small cigars, tea and biscuits, wine and cheese, chips and salsa, whatever suits your fancy ... and home time zone.

Every two weeks on Fridays, the six-years running Cultivating Community gathers. This is a life-giving oasis in a global storm of shifting sands, a fortnightly feast for the soul featuring small and whole group dialogue guided by existential questions. What comes up in this space is much more geared to what is alive for participants in the moment, rather than preset subjects.

Cultivating Community has kept many of us sane over the last few years. It also demonstrates how much more real this way of being together feels and puts the unsatisfactory nature of most of what goes on “out there” into sharp relief. It raises, and resources, one’s relational capacity and one’s standards.

I hope you'll join in the fun. It'll be good for all of us.

Sincerely,

Peter Pula
