Poetry Writing Workshop // Open Mic

Poetry Writing Workshop: 

Are you an aspiring poet? Do you want to develop your craft, share ideas and learn more about poetry? Join writer and teacher Matt for poetry workshops which will explore a range of techniques, forms, styles and approaches to writing poetry. Open to all abilities, the workshop will give opportunity for writers to practice their craft in a welcoming space at Indigo Cafe.

Poetry Open Mic:

The Indigo Poetry Open Mic invites local writers to come and share their work over steaming bowls of tasty ramen. Hosted by Matt, the open mic will feature a wide array of poetry styles, and will offer attendees of the Indigo Poetry Workshops an opportunity to share their work more widely. Get down to Indigo for every other last Thursday of the month and be prepared to experience language anew.
