The Money Game
The Money Game

It is difficult to put into words the experience of playing the Money Game.
But a previous participant managed it beautifully:
I played the Money Game as part of Jelly Open for Art yesterday and honestly had no clue what I was walking into. But it turned out to be one of the funniest, most unexpectedly memorable things I've done in a while...
...The game originally came out of the Findhorn Community in Scotland, and it's part play, part reflection, part gentle chaos. It uses real money, but it's not about finance, it's about freedom, trust, and how we show up.
If you ever get the chance, play it. It's weird, wonderful and a little bit magic. 💸✨
There is another chance to play on Friday 21st November in the Calthorpe Community Garden in London, with Agnes Otzelberger, Natasha Stallard and Jo Woods.
We live in a world of painful and extreme economic inequality. There are many norms, rules and beliefs about money that are often unspoken and contradictory. Because talking about money can be taboo, we rarely get to examine these.
The Money Game was developed to help people in all financial situations understand their feelings and beliefs about money, in their lives and in society. In our experience, examining our relationship to money, gently and playfully in the company of others, is one of the most radical ways we can practice living well together.
Please join us on Friday 21st November from 1.30pm-4.30pm. Delicious cake will be provided.
Ticket prices - please set your own fee, according to the following guidance:
As a standard ticket price, we suggest £25.
For those on lower incomes, we ask for £10.
If that is not possible but you would really like to participate, please contact us.
If you are able to donate more than £25, that is very welcome and will help us to make this Money Game as inclusive as possible for those on lower incomes.
About Agnes
I'm a therapist, trainer and coach who loves working with activists, artists and agitators of all kinds who want to find better ways to show up for the world, including themselves. A lot of what I do is about helping people and collectives liberate their creative, transformative potential by leaning into precisely those parts of ourselves that we're least fond of - our shadow. For me, money work is one of the most beautiful, juicy and powerful ways to do that.

About Natasha
Working across industry and society, I love to share the approaches that create liberating opportunities for all. I have worked globally and remotely with many organisations, coaching to a senior level, to create the shifts that enable cultures of trust.
What brings me alive is seeing the release, happiness and joy as individuals and groups step into a variety of new and progressive ways to work. Money work is one of the most joyful and direct routes I know to radically subverting the status quo whilst focusing us on what matters most, individually and/or collectively.
