Tale of Two Tastes: Down Home Style and Plant Based Vegan

Immerse yourself in flavor and culture with a vibrant foodways experience showcasing the culinary talents of Chef Paulett Strand and Chef Michelle Wilson. Both accomplished alumni of The Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College, these chefs bring decades of expertise and passion to our fourth Tale of Two Taste event.

Chef Strand, celebrated for her mastery of international vegan cuisine, will prepare a creative plant-based menu, offering her unique take on classic dishes. Meanwhile, Chef Wilson, an award-winning storyteller and expert in traditional Soul Food, will share recipes crafted with Halal meats, combining authenticity with meaningful cultural narratives.

This one-of-a-kind tasting will feature dishes that mirror each other in form, like the opening sliders, and others that embrace the full-bodied flavors of cherished classics. In our traditional format, chefs will engage in a lively Food Talk to share insights into the history, artistry, and connections behind their creations.

Join us for a celebration of food, community, and culture!  LIMITED TICKETS!!!!!  Children under 10 are Free, but Registration required.
