THE BIRDS, THE BEES AND THE BIG TALK
THE BIRDS, THE BEES AND THE BIG TALK
An interactive conversation exploring the messages we receive about relationships and sexual health as we grow up, from family and friends to school, films and social media. What we are told, what we are not told, and what stays with us.
We will look at how ideas about relationships and “the talk” have changed over time, and how different generations have experienced those conversations. The session also builds towards a shared piece reflecting what people wish they had been told earlier, and what might make those conversations easier in the future.
There are no right answers and no expectation to share more than you want to. Just a chance to come together, hear different perspectives across generations, and take part in an open conversation about relationships, sexual health and the messages that shape how we understand both.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
