Join us for a screening of High Fidelity, a cult classic exploring love, sex and heartbreak through music, memory and “Top 5” lists.
Based on Nick Hornby’s novel, the film follows record shop owner Rob Gordon as he revisits past relationships and tries to make sense of the patterns, stories and narratives that shape how we understand sex and relationships.
After the screening, there will be a Top 5 list-making activity inspired by the film, building lists around sex, relationships and popular culture. This might include everything from unforgettable TV couples, worst chat-up lines, guilty pleasure breakup songs or relationship lessons that stick with you.
Whether you are seeing it for the first time or returning to it, this is an opportunity to watch a cult classic and take part in a playful but open conversation about sex, relationships and the stories that shape how we understand them.
Popcorn and refreshments will be provided.
