THE BIRDS, THE BEES AND THE BALLADS

Join us for a creative songwriting challenge inspired by the relationships that shape our lives.

Love songs have dominated popular music for decades, but they rarely celebrate the friendships, family members, favourite places, everyday routines and unexpected connections that matter just as much. Working in small groups, participants will choose an unlikely subject and create an original song exploring the highs, lows and everything in between.

Along the way, we'll explore why some relationships are celebrated in music while others are overlooked, using storytelling and songwriting to celebrate the connections that help us through life.

No musical or songwriting experience is needed. Whether you arrive with a guitar or simply a good idea, the aim isn't to write a hit song, it's to have fun and celebrate the relationships that deserve an anthem of their own.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
