About Roddy Langmuir

Roddy Langmuir is a Practice Leader at London's Cullinan Studio, focusing on the design quality of the work of the practice. After growing up in the Cairngorm Mountains in Scotland and studying in Edinburgh, he joined Cullinan Studio, where he found an empathy for crafting buildings that engage with and respond to their environment. As a Practice Leader, Langmuir has developed a design method based on storytelling that begins with context, topography, micro-climate, and the cultural drivers of his clients and their chosen setting, inspiring expressive, clearly articulated buildings. Roddy chairs design review panels for Architecture and Design Scotland and lectures widely on projects and practices in the UK and abroad.
