Join us on March 24 with the West Coast Modern League to present Toronto-based Siamak Hariri, architect of the soon-to-open Marianne and Edward Gibson Art Museum at Simon Fraser University’s Burnaby campus.

About Siamak Hariri

Hariri is the founding partner of Hariri Pontarini Architects, a Toronto-based firm renowned for its thoughtful and transformative designs. With a diverse portfolio spanning cultural, academic, healthcare, spiritual, and residential projects, his work has earned over 100 awards, including five Governor General’s Medals in Architecture and the RAIC's Architectural Firm Award. Siamak’s designs are distinguished by his deep fascination with light, form, site, material, and craft—an approach evident in acclaimed projects such as the Bahá’í Temple of South America, the Tom Patterson Theatre, and Toronto’s BARLO MS Centre. His current projects include OpenROM, a reimagining of the Royal Ontario Museum, and the soon-to-open Marianne and Edward Gibson Art Museum at Simon Fraser University.

Doors open at 5 pm; the talk begins at 6 pm.
