The universities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and St Andrews have been awarded £3m by Wellcome, to create a new framework for research leadership – InFrame – recognising that a skilled collegial approach to leadership is critical for the development of supportive and equitable cultures, and foundational to the aspirations set out in our research culture action plans.

Our collaboration aims to address the paucity of systematic knowledge on how collegiality can be fostered, recognised and rewarded. It also aims to expand the definition of who can be viewed as a research leader to a wider set of role types, and individuals in the research ecosystem.

£1m project funding available to colleagues across the partner institutions

Our drop-in sessions aim to offer 1-2-1 in person support to individuals or groups who have an idea for the Research Culture Catalyst Fund that they want to further discuss with the InFrame team ahead of submitting an application for funding. This event is open to anyone, with an idea at any stage, and any level of experience in funding applications. The InFrame team are here to ensure you are fully supported throughout the application process. Allow the team to support you with questions such as is my idea feasible? What support can you provide with my application? What can be funded?

To ensure you will be able to be seen, we recommend booking a place at the event; however, if you are unsure what time you will be able to visit, please do just drop in, and we will do our best to accommodate you in a timely manner. Refreshments will be available for those attending the event.

All 1-2-1 sessions will last up to 10 minutes. We have two types of sessions available: non-booked - slots will be allocated on a first come first served basis and booked - where you can select in advance the precise time you wish to speak to a member of the InFrame team. The way these times are allocated are noted below.
