Curious about the Culture Catalyst Fund?

Have the spark of an idea but need some time and space to develop it further?

Want to meet others who are interested in applying and see what collaborations might be possible?

Join us for an Ideation Workshop.

You will have the chance to meet with peers who are exploring ideas for the Culture Catalyst Fund, and have facilitated time to dive deeper into your idea and craft it further alongside others.

You will also have the chance to ask questions about the Fund and gain further clarity on if it is the right opportunity for you.

This event is for anyone interested in applying for the Fund and developing an idea - feel free to attend even if you don't quite have an idea yet, you just know this sounds like a good opportunity. You do not need to be a researcher to attend. Anyone who works at one of the partnering Universities who has an idea, or wishes to change research culture for the better is invited to join this session and/or apply to the Fund. We hope to see you there!

Culture Catalyst Fund

The Culture Catalyst Fund (CCF) represents a significant effort to transform research culture by providing financial support for innovative ideas and emerging research leaders across the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and St Andrews. Led by the University of St Andrews, this fund aims to democratise research leadership, stimulate creativity, and test the co-created Collegial Research Leadership Framework. The fund targets researchers from diverse backgrounds, particularly those outside traditional researcher groups, aligning with InFrame's goal of expanding research leadership.

The Community Knowledge Hub, managed by the University of Edinburgh, will provide comprehensive support for funded projects, including pre- and post-award assistance, community building, and knowledge sharing. Through this initiative, the CCF seeks to transform research culture by supporting innovative ideas and emerging leaders across Scottish universities.

[Please note for those travelling to the event from the University of Glasgow and the University of St Andrews, travel expenses will be covered. Contact your institutional InFrame team to understand the process for this.]
