InFrame Mentoring Programme

​The InFrame Mentoring Programme is designed to support new and emerging leaders funded through the Culture Catalyst Fund (CCF). It fosters collegial leadership by connecting CCF team members with experienced mentors, change makers, and professional allies who offer guidance, support, and reflective learning.

​ Why Mentoring Matters

​Research shows that mentoring enhances job satisfaction, career success, and research impact. It also strengthens collaborative leadership and psychological safety within teams. The InFrame programme recognises the value of mentoring and provides both recognition and development opportunities for mentors.

Event Agenda

  • 10:00–11:00       Programme orientation. The session will provide you with the objectives of the programme, introduction to mentoring, and confidence in completing your matching profiles.
  • 11.00 - 11:15     Break
  • 11:15 – 13:15     The Coaching Catalysts – An Introduction to Mentoring Supervision (open to mentors & mentees)

Programme Objectives

  • ​Widen Understanding of Collegial Leadership
    Facilitate conversations around teamwork, collaboration, and leadership styles.
  • Support Professional Growth
    Help CCF team members achieve their project goals through personalised mentoring.
  • ​Broaden Professional Networks
    Enable connections across institutions and disciplines.
  • ​Establish a Mentoring Culture
    Encourage future mentoring participation and build confidence in leadership.
  • ​Recognise and Develop Mentors
    Provide honoraria and supervision to support mentor development.
  • ​Drive Continuous Improvement
    Use evaluation of the programme to inform the InFrame Framework for Collegial Research Leadership.

  • Bespoke mentoring professional development supervision sessions with The Coaching Catalysts

What commitment is required?

  • ​Up to 4 mentoring sessions over 6 months (90 minutes each)
  • ​Confidential meetings with no reporting requirement
  • Three professional development supervision sessions with The Coaching Catalysts
  • ​Evaluation through feedback and Likert-scale measures

Programme Design

  • ​Open to all CCF project team members
  • ​Orientation workshop required for participation
  • ​Matching based on leadership style, lived experience, and personal goals
  • ​Bespoke Supervision for mentors, and supervision experience for mentees through The Coaching Catalysts.
