Speak Up: Find Your Voice Through the Arts

Part of the Irish Arts and Human Rights Festival 2026, Speak Up is a creative workshop delivered by Inishowen Development Partnership as part of That’s Powerful project.

This engaging and welcoming session invites participants to explore how we can use our voices, creativity and the arts to express the things we believe should change. Through a range of creative activities, you’ll have the opportunity to find and develop your voice through storytelling and free writing, spoken word, performance exercises, and exploring rights-based issues through the arts.

Whether you’re passionate about social change, curious about creative expression, or simply want to try something new, this workshop offers a supportive space to explore ideas, build confidence and speak up.

No previous experience is needed — just bring your ideas, your voice and your creativity!
