Essential Skills for Carers

Inishowen Development Partnership, in collaboration with the HSE through the HARC Project, is delighted to support this free 6-week Essential Skills Programme for Family Carers.

Designed for individuals who provide care at home, this practical programme will cover a range of topics to help build confidence, knowledge and essential caring skills, including:

• Understanding Dementia
• Patient Moving & Handling
• Pressure Care
• Continence Care
• Diabetes
• Cardiac First Aid Response Training
• Nutrition
• Home Fire Safety
• Age Friendly Ireland Supports
