The Inkwell Theatre Group are delighted to announce that they will be performing Betwixt and Between, Michael J. Ginnelly’s hilarious comedy. Directed by Valda Rumley.

Oh what a tangled web skinflint Tom Carmody gets his family to weave in an attempt to conceal their new found good fortune. Stories are spun, and trouble follows trouble. Tom, his wife (Mary), daughter (Joan) and son (Sean) struggle to keep pace with their ever-changing tales.

Throw into the mix a pair of nosy neighbours, a disgruntled husband and an over-eager to prosecute Garda Inspector, and things quickly go from bad to worse.

For poor Tom, devoted to scrimping and saving, and presenting himself as always “just two sandwiches away from the poorhouse”, it is hard to adjust to change - will he always be betwixt and between?
