WORKSHOP - Lino Printing

Learn how to carve an image on lino block and print your very own original Greeting Cards and beautiful Artwork with Kira O'Brien

All materials will be supplied but please bring an apron

Lino printing (or block printing) is carving into a lino block with a special carving tool and using ink to print your image. It is a fun and creative technique to print your drawings onto paper, card or fabric . In this workshop we will specifically look at how to print onto greeting cards and you will also be shown a complimentary technique to block printing called Chine Colle which brings more colour and design into your work.
