Ultan Walsh and Lucy Stewart will give a tour of their award winning vegetable farm, Gort na Nain. This will of great interest to the hobby grower, the serious amateur and the committed foodie.

Gort na Nain is a 9 acre vegetable farm run by Ultan Walsh and Lucy Stewart. We specialise in supplying quality vegetables for the restaurant trade and have found a niche growing vegetable varieties not often associated with Ireland. Each year we grow over 2 acres of outdoor vegetables from Artichokes to Zuchini, and the use of polytunnels allows us to grow aubergines, peppers and tomatoes in the summer months and oriental greens during the winter.

Directions: From Nohoval village, go west towards Ballinaclashet. After the graveyard, take the next righthand turn. Go up the hill and we’re the third house on the right.
