Song Sanctuary in NYC
Song Sanctuary with Michael Stillwater provides a joyful and effective way to reconnect with and appreciate our inner song. With awareness and ease we open to our creativity, strengthening our self-confidence. Through simple singing exercises each person is led to a deeper experience of their own ‘heart song’.
"very beautiful, regenerative and inspiring" - Jocelyn Rasmussen, USA
In addition, Michael spontaneously creates original songs related to participants’ personal themes. These songs are recorded and given to all participants.
If you feel ready to emerge into fuller vocal expression, we recommend practicing with SongSourcing- The Art of Imaginative Songmaking. Even a few minutes of SongSourcing can breathe new possibility into your imagination. It is an invitation to leave behind ideas of inadequacy around your capacity to create, and open to the transforming power of your storyteller and songmaker.
"great, beautiful gifts, achingly and inspiringly beautiful." -Rachel Bagby, USA

No longer hiding their voices, participants discover the ‘natural inner singer and songwriter’ within themselves. For over 50 years he has been leading gatherings of song in America and Europe. His unique guitar playing is influenced by folk, jazz, rock and classical styles, and his way of teaching inspires participants at different levels. His music speaks a wisdom of the heart and a universal spirituality helping many find a doorway into deeper creativity.
